Here’s some better pics of the shell tongues, I had to really be smart with how I made these tongues cause the cordovan really doesn’t like to bend. Did a more sleek look with this set of tongues but very happy with how it ended up. It
Theirs certain projects that I work on where I feel like all my knowledge of the craft is really tested and is pushed to a point of either you get it right or you don’t at all. To improve your craft you have to really be honest with yourself,
Toe box came out really nice, got a really good pic of the two leather colors in these. Sewing really pops, also skived the lower toe piece to be flush so when I last I get no unwanted impressions. #leather #leatherworking #leatherwork #handmade #
